About Us

History

Telford Copper & Stainless Steel Cylinders Ltd was established in 1989 as a manufacturer of traditional copper vented cylinders.

Following expansion of the copper division, commercial calorifiers and the advanced Tristor thermal store units were added to the product range.

2002 saw further expansion and the introduction of a full range of unvented, stainless steel cylinders which include the flagship Tempest and Tornado range of cylinders.

In response to the growth in demand for low carbon heating options, the Telford product range has again been expanded and now includes renewable heating system packages.

Quality

Designed to achieve optimum levels of performance and efficiency, Telford hot water storage cylinders are manufactured in accordance with the highest quality standards including ISO 9001 : 20015 & BSI566:2002 (Part L).

All products undergo rigorous testing by external standards agencies to ensure optimum performance and efficiency.

Stainless steel cylinders are manufactured using Duplex 2304 as it offers superior corrosion resistance properties and Grade 3 copper is used to manufacture the vented cylinder range.

All cylinders are pickled after welding to guarantee the corrosive properties are restored.
